Hudson Urban Bicycles (HUB) in the West Village, New York City, hosted Bike Style Saturday night, a fashion show premiering chic urban cycling looks. Friends of HUB donned tailored bicycle wear--blazers, cropped pants, and caps--from designers Lela Rose, Reiss, Sheila Moon, and Outlier; strutted and danced 'cross the runway to DJ jams; mounted European-origin bikes from Batavus, Abici, Moof, and Linus, and rode out into the rainy NYC night. Click through for our videos--the def jams might have you chair dancing--and more photos from the show.

George Bliss, HUB owner says, "By presenting fashion-forward clothing designed with the bicyclist in mind, we are changing the way modern Americans view cycling. We want ʻBike Styleʼ to show people how a bicycling lifestyle can be convenient for everybody, especially trendsetting New Yorkers."
Function Meets Fashion: Bike Lock as Belt
Folding Style: Pant by Reiss, jacket by Nau, bike by Brompton.
Unfortunately, at the close of the show George announced that HUB will close in one week--due a hike in rent-- but will reopen at a different location in the future. Visit The Hub Blog to follow them and for more event coverage
